Summer may be winding down, but my dreams of beautiful decks on the beach will not die! Huge wooden decks, weathered from the elements call to me. Family dinners while listening to the waves and feeling the sea breeze are some of my favorite childhood memories.

I'm in love with the rustic feel of the above. Weathered wood shingles with white french doors! Those metal chairs are wonderful with the rustic and natural elements. It grounds the deck without it becoming kitschy.
